Terms of use

1. Eligibility

You must be of legal drinking age in the place where you live and in any place you visit to consume alcohol. You may use the app to explore without drinking alcohol at all.

2. Responsible use

• Nothing in the app requires or rewards buying or consuming alcohol. Badges and milestones count places, never drinks.
• Never drink and drive. Plan a designated driver, public transport or a ride.
• Respect venues' rules, staff, neighbours and local laws, and follow the venue's opening hours.
• You are responsible for your own safety and choices.

3. Check-ins

Check-ins require a live location reading at the venue. Attempting to spoof location, automate check-ins or otherwise get around verification is prohibited and may lead to suspension. Web location cannot prove physical presence; we use reasonable checks but cannot guarantee every check-in is genuine.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, notes and reviews you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute content you make public, solely to operate the service. You confirm you have the right to post it, and that photos of identifiable people are posted with their permission. Follow the community guidelines; we may remove content or suspend accounts that break them.

5. Venue information and Google services

Venue data, ratings, photos and maps are provided by Google Maps Platform and are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Search results cannot include every establishment, may be out of date, and venue counts for an area are approximate. Always check opening hours and accessibility directly with the venue.

6. Availability

The service is provided "as is". Searches rely on a paid, quota-limited third-party API and may be unavailable at times. We may change or discontinue features.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for incidents at venues or while travelling between them. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your statutory consumer rights.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
