Cookie policy

Effective 6 November 2026 · Operator: Big Walkabout Carouse! (Dustin Pierce) · dustinmehrapierce@gmail.com

We use as little browser storage as we can. Analytics stays off unless you switch it on.

Strictly necessary (always on)

Sign-in session (local storage, key beginning sb-): keeps you signed in. Lasts until you sign out.
bwc-consent-v1 (local storage): remembers your cookie choice and when you made it.
Google Maps: when you open a map, Google's map script may set storage needed to deliver the map. Maps only load on pages where you use them.

Analytics (optional, off by default)

_ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4 cookies, up to 2 years): distinguish anonymous visits. Only set after you choose "Accept all" or enable analytics. The Google Analytics script is not loaded at all before then.

Changing your mind

Use "Cookie preferences" in the footer or the button above at any time. If you withdraw consent we stop analytics immediately and delete the _ga cookies we can access. "Reject all", "Accept all" and "Customize" are always offered with equal prominence.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
